Enjoy this exciting, yet gentle introduction to white-water
rafting. Ride in a comfortable motorcoach to the beautiful Mendenhall Glacier. Gear up with a poncho, life jacket, and rubber boots before boarding 10-12 person rafts. A
professional guide will lead the raft across the lake, while you take in the spectacular scenery.
After entering the Mendenhall River, you encounter
moderate rapids which add excitement to the trip. Your entertaining guide will explain the natural phenomena at work
in this scenic valley. Go ashore to enjoy an Alaskan snack. Near tidewater at scenic Brotherhood Park, you come ashore, turn in your rafting gear, and return to town by
motorcoach.
