Spectacular Tracy Arm Fjord, just south of Juneau Alaska, meanders into the majestic Alaskan coastal
mountains for thirty miles, from saltwater to glacier ice. This glacial fjord
passes through nearly vertical rock walls thousands of feet high, laced with waterfalls. Icebergs slide silently by, translucent blue against the deep green sea water.
Around one more twisting bend of the chasm, lie the twin tidewater Sawyer Glaciers. The South Sawyer Glacier is one of the most fascinating glaciers in Alaska: huge
chunks of ice calve off the glacier's face into the salt water on the average of once an hour. Enjoy the glacier views while we serve a hot, delicious lunch.

The scenery between Juneau and Tracy Arm's Sawyer Glaciers is rugged, picturesque, and teeming with
wildlife. Visitors, photographers, and sea kayakers can expect to see seals, porpoises, sea lions, humpback whales, and killer whales, as well as black and brown bears, deer, wolves, moose, and mountain
goats.
