Level 1 - Helicopter Glacier Walkabout
Approximately 3 ¼ hours including transportation to and from the heliport, safety briefing and gearing up, 30-35 minutes of helicopter flight time and a 1-hour walk on the glacier. Minimum age: 8 years
This trip is a non-strenuous, 1-hour interpretive walk. The guide provides detailed explanations of the glacier environment, the surrounding area, and teaches proper use of the mountaineering equipment provided. There is plenty of time for photo opportunities. The amount of walking is moderate, over relatively flat to rolling terrain. No previous experience is necessary.
Equipment and food provided: Rain and wind-proof jacket and pants, gloves, hard shell mountaineering boots, crampons, a trekking pole, and hip-pack with tissues, a granola bar, and bottled water.

Level 2 - Helicopter Glacier Trek
Approximately 4 ¼ hours including transportation to and from the heliport, safety briefing and gearing up, 30-35 minutes of helicopter flight time and a 2-hour hike on the glacier. Minimum age: 12 years
On this 2-hour hike, there is an early emphasis on learning the proper use of the mountaineering gear and understanding the glacier features and hazards so that more remote areas of the glacier can be accessed during the trek. You will experience physical activity interspersed with detailed explanations of the glacier environment and surrounding area. The amount of walking is extensive on uneven and sometimes steep terrain. No previous experience is necessary but you should be comfortable walking 2 miles over uneven terrain.
Equipment and food provided: Rain and wind-proof jacket and pants, gloves, hard shell mountaineering boots, crampons, gaitors, harness with carabiner, ice-axe, helmet, and hip-pack with tissues, a granola bar, and bottled water.

Level 3 - The "X-Trek"
Approximately 6 ¼ hours including transportation to and from the heliport, safety briefing and gearing up, 30-35 minutes of flight time and a 4 hour hike on the glacier. Minimum age: 16 years.
This trek is an Alaskan glacier adventure that includes four hours hiking and climbing over the rugged terrain of the glacier. Upon landing, the guide teaches the basics of glacier travel and then leads your group on an exploration of the most pristine and remote areas of the glacier. Opportunities for adventure photos abound as you are introduced to and practice basic climbing and rope techniques enabling you to safely climb and descend the ice walls. The amount of walking is extensive and often on steep terrain with some technical climbing. No previous experience is necessary however you should be comfortable hiking 3-4 miles over varied and sometimes steep terrain.
Equipment and food provided: Rain and water-proof jacket and pants, gloves, hard shell mountaineering boots, gaitors, crampons, harness with carabiner, helmet, ice-axe, climbing tools, day-pack with tissues, a granola bar, and bottled water. Mid-way through the trek the guide serves an Alaskan snack.
